Interesting, worthy of a Wheel and Brake upgrade or not?

Thats a bargain triple chainset - ok for better road handling maybe a wheel upgrade but those wheels have got a good reputation 8.7g including pedals that'l make an excellent sportive bike I think they are limited stock

I just checked my local store (Surrey Quays) and the price on the selection of ''performance road bikes'' was £900, but selecting that model brought up the 33% off lower price. So if you can't find the lower price at your local store, you might find it at a different one.


Luckily they only have 55cm and 57cm frames (and I've got a b'twin 57cm frame that's too small for me) - I say luckily because it was a distraction from getting myself a touring bike next....

You can purchase from any store online but its not straight forward - Lets say your nearest store is stockport yet they dont have any in stock but Surrey Quays does you need to select surrey quays as your nearest store then it will give you an option of home delivery - Your postcode should go next to your town and in the post code box you put the surrey quays post code once youve checked out and paid they will give you a ring the next day and confirm your order it will then take a week to package and send via 48hr parcelforce.

but it says "product unavailable" unless I select Sheffield store and the "57/22" size then the price is 899...??? I'd be highly tempted for a 600 quid carbon bike...

I was in Decathlon Reading picking myself up a Triban 3 last week and they had one of these in 57cm frame size built up and on display. Have to say it looks very nice in the flesh.... the price on the one in store was 899 though...
