BSA identification help!

I just picked up what I believe to be a 50s BSA Regency Deluxe but wondered if anyone could confirm this? Any links or advice to help with the restoration would be appreciated too!

The easiest way to date something like this is to look at the Sturmey Hub (I assume it is a Sturmey hub, if it's a BSA geared hub, it's pre-war but I don't think it's that old) as they have the date of manufacture stamped into the shell.

Is that a Sturmey Dynohub I see on the front? That will also have date stamped on it.

If you search online, someone, somewhere will have a list of BSA serial numbers. Scans of old catalogues and brochures are also often to be found online, you may be able to match it to specific model year depending on the exact spec of the bike.
