Just been onto Peter Matthews Wheels and ordered a new front wheel with a Schmidt SON 28 dynohub and a Schmidt Edelux II front light. I was trying to make my mind up between the SON Edelux and the SON 28 hub as the Edelux was described as 'lighter' by more than one webpage, but when I checked with Schmidt's webpage it turned out it was 50 grammes, which equates to about one small satsuma (how do I know that? 'cos I went downstairs and weighed one, that's how  :thanks:) and the 28 is rated better for low speeds (for when I'm out with the wife and kids you understand, not 'cos I'm a slow old git  ) and for charging 'devices' and the price was identical. Can't wait to see what it looks like and how it performs :hyper: :bicycle:

Just one word of warning, don't ring Pete if you're in a hurry as he loves a chat ^_^
This is not meant as a criticism in any way as he's a lovely bloke and great to talk to, and each time I've spoken to him I come off the phone feeling better than when I dialled his number:smile:
