One of my bikes has a splendid Brooks Swift saddle and a completely naff looking nylon seat pack. I thought I might get one of these D-shaped jobbies to tart it up a bit.

Thing is, they look like they might swing about given that they are suspended by straps and quite deep. Also I know of someone who had problems with the rivets shearing.

Also looking at the Challenge Saddle Bag too.

As ever your insights would be much appreciated.

The Lardster.

Did you see this?

I was very tempted myself for the money, but I don't use anything smaller than a Barley.

How about this:

I've been eyeing this up for a while and haven't yet decided but would look good with a Brooks I think.
They are nice and a reasonable price too.

I think I'd prefer something that attaches to the back of the saddle rather than being stuffed under it, as I'd be worried about losing it.

I suppose it would be easy enough to get a second toe strap so it could be hung off the loops.

The other dampener being the ridiculous delivery times from the US: getting on for three months before i gave up ordering from there.

JDP, that looks pretty good, not come acros Morpha before. Wax cotton should be fairly light too. I agree with Jimmy on worrying about losing it. Also, Im not sure if stuff could slip out the end or not?

There are compartments to put tools in so that shouldn't happen ( http://www.mophadelivers.com/always/Roll_2.html ) but I also was concerend about how well it would stay in the saddle. It just looks better than a normal sadddle bag. I've emailed them for dimensions to see how it would fit on my bike. If it does then the question would be black to go with my black Genesis or brown to go with the brown seat/bar tape on the Plug.
Decisions, decisions.....

I have a Carradice zipped roll under my Brooks and it sits under there nicely. Big enough to get all that you need in it, but not to big that you know it's there.
