I broke mine nearly 1 month ago and still no where near getting on the bike.
That is down to the hospital making some bad judgements and not operating on it when i first went in and movement on my arm was 0 for two weeks due to the pain.

sorry to hear that gaz i dont think mine is that bad saw the xray break is mid way along but is a complete break only need 2 paracetomol every 6 hours and lots of tea n sympathy from wife.was just trying to get an idea of recovery time

Seems to vary quite widely - when I bust mine ISTR cycling (carefully) to physio at about 3 or 4 weeks, whereas a mate had to have his pinned after about 6 months 'cos it just wasn't knitting properly.

When I broke my collar bone, I was off riding my bike, and my horse for 6 weeks. Back on the horse after 6 weeks, back on my bike after 8 or so.
