So I stupidly stood on my backpack clips of my Vaude Trailight 12 bag and now one has gone the way of the dodo (Bottom one is what top one should look like)...

So I need to find a replacement. What are these things actually called? Looked on their website but couldnt find spare parts like this, Im sure they are out there somewhere.

I had same and had to cobble together from an old bag n rivet as stitched in.

Thanks for all the replies, especially numbnuts (!), exactly what I was looking for.

Now to work out how to fit the things if they are stitched in...

I broke one on a helmet a few years ago, it did have a name on it so searched that and the only place I could find the correct size was on a dog coller! If there is any ID on it (or the female section it clips into) try a search on google.

There's no picture but if this is an exact match it would save you having to do both sides (useful if it means stitching) might be worth an email to the shop to see if he can take a picture?

I think I was lucky in that the piece that broke could be pulled out without any problems. Will check that guy out. Thanks for posting.

I do not wish to state the (possibly) blindingly obvious, but in the one linked to by Numbnuts, and the Vaude buckle suggested by Gary E, the 25mm refers to the width of the webbing, not the length of the buckle. Hope this helps.

So it was not that obvious then. I guessed there was room for confusion, as I had made a similar mistake myself.

I would try to get replacements from Vaude. Theirs might possibly be stronger than ones purchased from Ebay.

If you go to the Vaude website, and want to read it in English: Go to the very bottom of the page, and click on "Sprache wählen"
At the top right of the next screen, you can select your language.
