Broken cable tension screw

Hi there,i have a 13 yr old shimano SL-R770 shifter(flat bar) and the spring inside the tension screw is broken.Is it possible to replace the screw and spring as i cant source a replacement shifter of that age to keep them matching.
I appreciate and help on the matter thanks.

i was going to suggest getting replacement shifters, i know the OP wants to repair if possible?

Turns out i can buy a replacement screw,spring and cap for about £3 and just use the spring,Should have googled it better yesterday instead of panic posting on here
