Brits leading the Grand Tours

Following on from Cav being the first Briton to lead the Giro, the Comic have done a nice little piece on Brits who have led a Grand Tour clicky.

The comic seemed to have reverted to type and forgotten about Nicole having finished in pink. Didn't Emma Pooley lead the German tour a couple of years back ?

Why does someone always jump in and bang on about women's cycling?

Hardly anyone is interested, and great though Nicole may be, women's cycling is nowhere near as competitive as men's, and just doesn't draw a crowd. Plus they ride well slow in comparison....
