I nipped home at lunchtime as we have some guys replacing the weather/soffit boards on the house. Chatted with one of them for 10 minutes, usual stuff "how's it going", "not too windy up there " etc. I then ended it with a cheery "I'll let you get on with it" as i walked towards the front door ........ "yeah I expect you will wanting to get inside and put the kettle on" he shouted after me

Cheeky B*stard ......... you wouldn't get that from a Pole.

I was visiting a job last week and the chap made me a brew even though I originally refused as I wouldn't be that long there. However, we talked about more and more bits of work and he then offered me lunch. I refused again as I wouldn't be that long there but eventually he made pumpkin soup and Naan bread while I ripped his house security to bits and told him how easy it would be to break in.

ps... told him off and that i expected a big discount and he gave me a great quote. will just have to get my dad to be here when he fits the bathroom, instead of me!

no, that is why my dad is gonna be there!!!!!

there is no way i'm gonna get my whole bathroom fitted, tiled, shower supplied and fitted also, for only £560 anywhere else

so my dad will have to come over!

That seems suspiciously low, I would be worried about the quality of work at that price. Was he recommended by someone you know?

A girl on the till at ASDA (not very nice) went to kiss me when I lent in to type my pin number the other day.

I would'nt let that man back in my house if that happened to me?

He as got the wrong impression from you and it will carry on if your not carefull!
