Oh yeah I thought about that. I think its silly that your advised to have insurance for cycling now a days. The world has gone crazy I feel. Thank you for input.
It has been sensible for a long time to have insurance. Not least because the NHS can recover costs for road accidents. Some 30 years I was working in A&E when one of my colleagues was admitted. On his bike he cut in between 2 cars stopped at traffic lights, not realising that the one in front was towing the other one. He hit the towrope and came off. The Health Service then sent him a bill for his ambulance and shoulder x-ray.
I generally assumed my household policy would cover it, but now I've started cycling seriously I've taken out British Cycling insurance.
