Hi all

My front wheel has been stolen while i was at work..... long story i didnt lock it up the misses did but she didnt do it correctly.
I have insurence with british cycling do they cover stollen parts?

If you have the membership insurance then this is only third party insurance. This essential insurance cover will be of use if you are blamed for causing an incident and someone wants to pursue a claim against you. You are insured for claims up to £10m.

British Cycling also offer additional cycle insurance for members at an additional cost which offers the following.

Aghhh ok thanks I havnt took any additional cover.... I shall spend the cash on a new wheel, teach the misses how to lock bike up correctly and buy additional cover.

Your help much appreciated.

You could check your home insurance policy, but with the excess, a new wheel will probably cost less

I know cheap bikes have parts made of cheese but wheels made of Stollen, I'm sure you would die, but good if you need emergency eats whilst out riding
