Nice article at Cycling Weekly (several years ago) about the bike Brian Robinson rode at the 1959 Tour de France, including another stage win. One gorgeous bicycle!

When my son went on his first club ride age 9 - setting off 5 minutes early and arriving 5 minutes after at the cafe - Brian and Tom Oldfield (who died a couple of weeks ago) spent time encouraging him. They continued to do so; this is the only photo we've got of them both
