Break bolt

Hey, i got some disc breaks and due to constant adjusting of the breaks, ive stripped the bolt to tighten them. The bolt looks similar to the ones my friends bikes use. I was wondering where can i pick up a new one from? Any on-line link for the uk or any store recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Basically you need to measure it (diameter) - probably metric unless it's American. i found a box of stainless cap screws in mixed sizes a handy thing for day to day replecement.

Stainless steel is not very good in a shear motion, as Adrian mentioned, use high tensile bolts.

OP - your local bike shop will have a little drawer of bits. There will be one in there. Or a proper old-fashioned hardware shop. In both places you will be able to buy one loose bolt for pence rather than a pack of 5 in a little plastic bag on a cardboard hanger for £6
