Not to sure where I should post this so sorry if it is in the wrong place!
Ok, So i have an old raleigh pro race and the time has come to replace the brake pads. The bike had been stored in a loft for 20 years and they are the original pads! They have worn down a lot and are getting a bit lazy. I was just wondering what would I be best doing, Replacing just the pad ( If so, what type? I have heard that cheaper ones squeak and leave a lot of black residue??) Or upgrade the whole calliper so I can have a different type of pad (Again, If so, What type?)
Here if a picture of my current set up that I took a few months.
Thanks
