Brake Pads for Carrera Subway 1

Hi

I'm very new to the world of bike maintenance so sorry if this is a basic question. My brake pads on my Carrera Subway 1 have worn down and need replacing. What type do I need and where is the cheapest place to buy them?

I'm in much the same boat. Bike parts on ebay confuse the hell out of me as I don't know what's good or bad.

Are there any makes that are highly regarded or best avoided?

Personally, I like the Kool-Stop Salmon pads, but they're not the cheapest.

+1 for Koolstop Salmons. I've fitted all my bikes with them. Excellent they are too. They do wear slightly more rapidly than some, but they stop you when you need to stop quickly. That can only be good.
