Brake Pad Tension

Hi

I was trying to tighten the tension on my front brake pads, but now they won't even touch the rim.

Any tips to fix would be appreciated.

1. Screw the barrel adjusters in as far as they will go and then open them up one turn.
2. Loosen the cable retaining bolt on the caliper.
3. Use your left hand to pinch the caliper onto the rim.
4. Use your right hand to pull down on the loose cable below the caliper.
5. Tighten the cable retaining bolt on the caliper.
