Brake pad choice for sirrus elite 2008...

Are there any Specialized sirrus elite riders out there who can cast an opinion on brake pads. Just worn my way through the first set of pads that came with the bike, and now I'm looking for replacements.
I like the look of the Kool Stop pads, possibly the Tectonic system - but are these more suited to MTB's/too big for my bike?
