Brake leavers

Hi, i want 2x leavers but they only do right side only, what i was thinking if i put both on would they still work ( there hydro (shiamno deore lxm585)


I dont realy want to change brakes as i just spent £30 on pads

Using the wrong levers with hydraulics could be problematic due to fill\bleed holes being at the bottom instead of the top.
I wouldn't, as it could allow air to get into the system.

Hi, there abit of budget i only broguht the set for £45, and they where fully working. Then they needed bleeding so i made my own bleed kit then the screws for the resivor wont come off so im kinda stuck

I seen a pair on CRC just type lx m585 and its the only leavers - there £18 but there 9 speed and mines 8 speed (i guss ill just have to remember not to put it in 9th gear (or first)

It doesn't work like that - there's 9 cogs in the same space as 8, so the spacing is narrower.
Using 8 speed levers for 9 speed kit will utterly throw the indexing.
So, making your own bleed kit is not the best way to go?

My bleed kit is A+ but its the screws in the resivor that aint coming out, what do you need to make it 9 speed (oblisley 9 speed cassete and chain but what else??
