anyone help please...

My shamino deore 615 brakes have jammed up (hydrolic)
Cleaned the Pistons, managed to force the Pistons back in but there is no pressure on the lever.

Looked inside the lever, the little bit of wire that is sticking out when the lever is pressed fully in, the wire is slightly loose, as opposed to the working side which is tight.

Don't really want to bleed them unless that is the issue.

Anyone have an idea?

Get a bleed kit and bleed them. Probably air. Are they fully hydraulic?

Fully hydrolic?

I've bled them previously, just want to make sure that's the issue before I get the kit together again.
There is no movement at all when the lever is pressed and no resistance on the lever either.

I'll bleed them and see if that works.

Thanks.

I recently bled /changed the fluid in mine, found the instructions provided by shimano

http://si.shimano.com/php/download.php?file=pdf/dm/DM-GN0001-18-ENG.pdf page 90ish.

Far better results than any other guides, I used the EPIC bleed kit. Spend time getting the res high and the caliper low, and flicking the pipes or just allowing time for any bubbles to rise.

I dont really understand your post?

Did the pistons actually come out?
What is the wire?
Did you force the pistons back after they popped out or just pushed them back in?

No but were very hard to push back in.

The wire in the lever handle...turns out nothing to do with it.

Forced them in.

Sorted now, just needed bleeding.
