Brake Identification Giant Defy 4 2010 (I think)

Can anyone tell me what these brakes are, they are binding & when I tried to strip them down I can't undo the grub screw in the centre so may have to replace at least the rear.

Look a bit like tektro brakes but cannot be sure.

Did you manage to sort these brakes out? I'm contemplating buying a second hand 2010 Giant defy 4 from someone in the nottingham area and when I went to view it the brakes looked very much like these ones (rusted) and also the brakes wouldn't retract away from the wheel rim when the brake leavers were activated.

I don't really want to spend too much money on fixing up the bike, so I was wondering how easy you found it to sort out the brakes and whether you had to buy completely new brakes?

I ended up buying a new front & rear set, think they were about £70
