Brake Hardware Spares Supply?

Does anyone know an easy resource for replacing rusty hardware on brake calipers.

The brakes are very early 105 calipers and while they work fine, and the arms themselves are in great nick, their hardware does leave a lot to be desired.

This is best pic of one caliper I have right now.

Cheers

I'm not sure about sourcing new parts, but have you tried dismantling them and getting to work with some wire wool and GT85 to remove the rust?

It's hard to see how bad the rust is from that pic, but I've had great luck de-rusting older components with this method before.

I've not yet TBH, sorry about the pic, but just imagine pretty badly rusted brake bolts and you've got the idea.

I've got wire wool, GT85 and 2 elbows so I'll no doubt give it a go at some point, but I do like to find the path of least resistance if possible

New brakes then.

I just want to replace the bolts etc in the calipers that have gone rusty.

I've never done this before and can't seem to find anywhere that does such things.

I know I might be able to match them up at a hardware store, but I'm also aware that threads on bike fittings are often specific to the bike industry.

Yeah - I got that problem too. Pleased my question bumped this up a bit. I guess the hardware store solution might work but you'd need to disassemble and take the bolts along for matching. Often times these days threads are metric so I'd start there.

Clean up with wire wool, or even paint the bolts if really bad. TBH a full strip down and clean up.
