Brake block query

Just fitted new campy wheels.
The stopping power has increased considerably...
I'm getting a lot of judder tho?
I always clean and fit new pads with disc brakes so should I clean and re-face my brake blocks so I get fresh Pad transfer?
The rear is ok it's just the salmons on the front
I've never bothered before
