Just a quick query.

I am going to replace the triple chainset on my MTB for a double. The current BB is a Hollowtech 2 style one.

The Double chainset I have is a square taper fitting so I understand that I will have to change the BB. The BB shell is 68 across, so I have ordered a 68 x 113 from Wiggle, does this sound like the correct one to use or should I have gone for a 68 x 110?

TIA!!

73m is normal for MTB. Depends upon what's recommended for the chainset. You should get away with 110mm if 113 is recommended, depending on frame clearance, but if may not if clearance is tight.

It may be a bit trial and error. If you order a second BB of the 'correct' size after finding the first one was wrong but return the first one with the unused cups from the replacement you might get away with it and that wouldn't be unfair on the person that received the return?
