Shimano UN54 replacement BB.

Has the existing BB packed in? as it should be fine for commuting and rough stuff to be honest and is most likely no worse than the replacement.

If you have the budget imo its worth while investing. I spent about 60 quid each on a Hope one for my road bikes. They seem to last 2-3 times longer than the cheaper shimano I used to get the LBS to fit.

I took my Badboy to my LBS and they replace my BB with a Shimano UN54B so lets hope this can last for another 1,500 to 2,000 miles

There really is nothing wrong with the 54 and it's not a poor substitute for a more expensive BB, I run one on the fixed and that's done maybe 10'000 in all weathers and on rough stuff.

Not a hint of roughness or wear yet.
