Does anyone know what size bottom bracket i need to fit a Trek 7200 FX

Your question is impossible to answer with any certainty without further details. That Trek model was made over a number of years, delivered with different chainsets, which require different bottom bracket spindle lengths for different chainlines (probably either 47.5mm or 50mm).
