These are good - sturdy but light, and hold a bottle secure.

Or these, if you fancy some carbon bling.....

No real need for Carbon cages, £30+ for what does the same job as a £1.99 one with a saving of a massive... 50 grams... The blackburn £1.99 ones are find from Planet X

Got the Elite Stealth myself.

The elite ones from halfords about £10 a pop really light good quality I have 3 of them now http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_760813_langId_-1_categoryId_273927

+1 0n the Tesco own brand holders.........cheap n cheerful if you can find them. My Tescos doesn't seem to have them any more!

I have 'Specialized' one on my road bike at the moment. Nice minimalist swoopy design and very light......if a bit spendy. Lots of choices out there. I wouldn't sweat over a few grams here and there. Buy one (or two!) you like the look of. By the time you've stuck a litre or so of water in 'em weight becomes a non-issue IMO.

I have two elite race ones same as that halfords link above. Work fine and look ok.

Had to laugh a few weeks back In a cycling mags "super bike" pullout that showcased the best bikes money can buy.

One such bike, with a price tag of several thousand pounds had a bottle holder on it... Guess what it was..

Yep, an elite, exactly the same as on my bike that cost £7.99
