Hi everyone, not sure if this should be posted here or in the touring thread but does anyone know of a firm that sells oversized bottle carriers? I'm talking here about a carrier that will carry either a standard 1 litre or hopefully, a litre and a half Plastic water bottle of the sort that you can buy in a Supermarket?

In case anyone thinks I'm just being a lazy git by asking here I have looked all over the net before posting!

Could be very useful if you're on a long ride in unfamiliar parts and you are not sure if you'll come across somewhere to refill your bidons.

Actually that's what i was asking for. I did lots of touring by bike in Europe many years ago and would like to do it again - touring I mean. I just think I've left dear England out so much but having been out of just going off on the bike for so long and being a bit old and creaky now and needing to catch up with gear etc, I just need all the help i can get

:laugh: it was intended as a funny aside, clearly you have suffered from a sense of humour failure. In any event I do apologise for upsetting your sensibilities, and yes I do have a bike.

Sorry about the dlay - I have been trawling through old CTC Mags as I could not find these on Google

Now I have - so for future reference.....

Go easy on the OP? He's new, and probably hasn't twigged to forum humour yet (understandbly so)?

Group hug? :laugh::biggrin:
