Just wondering if anyone has any experience of either of these cages:

Specialized Rib Cage- http://www.evanscycles.com/products/specialized/rib-cage-pro-bottle-cage-ec005612

or

Topeak Modula Cage - http://www.evanscycles.com/products/topeak/modula-bottle-cage-ec008140

or

Bontrage Race Light Cage - http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bontrager/race-lite-cage-ec008116

Im interested in a pair of new cages for my bike for my MCR - Blackpool ride this weekend, and have seen these in Evans/Harry Halls and can pick them up tomorrow. But dont want to get some cages that eject my bottles at every bump or dont allow me to get them out easily enough when riding.

Cheers

I have the specialized, nice snug fit that keeps the bottle secure when the going gets bumpy but is also easy enuff to remove the bottle on the go, no experience of the other ones im afraid!!

I've had problems with bottles jumping out of cages recently. I was recommended the Bonterage Race lite cage. It certainly holds the bottle much better than the cages I've had before and isn't to difficult to get the bottle out to drink. I'd recommend it.

Another +1 for the Specialized cage. The previous version of it with the rubber band bit at the front, was rubbish but this version is much better.

+1 for the spech ones!

I didn't like mine at all when I first got it thort it was very difficult to take the bottle out while on the move, my first one seems to have free'd up a little since and its spot on now. I actually got a second over the weekend as well

+1 for the Specialized. I have one on my MTB and never had a bottle fall out or had difficulty taking the bottle out for a drink and putting it back in on the go

I have a pair of the specialised ones on my Trek and apart from one small problem found them excellent. The small problem I had but it probably would apply to all or some cages and not just related to the "spech" one was one hot day found I could not remove my bottle whilst riding, finally came with a good hard pull. I had spilt some of my SIS energy drink down the side of my bottle when filling and when I came to try to remove my second bottle, it was firmly glued into the cage.

Now I always rinse my bottle after filling and it has never happened again.

Although you've already got yours. I can recommend the Bontrage Race Light Cage.

I put 2 white ones on my Bianchi and they work very well. Hold the bottles securely but aslo easy to remove on on the go.
