I find the need to have more drinks on my bike now I am doing longer rides so decided to fit a second bottle mount. I went to Halfords today and bought some Elite VIP Bottle Clamps, a bottle cage and a pair of pump mount clips. I have mounted the cage on my seat tube. It had no pre installed mounts, hence the Elite straps. I use a frame pump that used to sit on the seat tube, but I have now had to mount it under the top tube, hence the pump clips. The good part is Halfords have a 3 for 2 offer on lots of cycle accessories so I got the pump clips for free. I have no idea how good the bottle cage straps are, but the reviews seem OK. Worth a try anyway.

I dislike bottles (for no very reasonable reason) and if I'm going further than 2 bottlesworth, I use a Camelbak.

I first used one offroad, but it sneaked onto my road bike.

Nothing to reach for, nothing to replace and the bit that's in the tube (about one gulp) is always pre-chilled.

Mmmmm....

I still have bottles, but I prefer to use an old bottle in one cage to carry tubes, levers and allen keys.

I use 2 bottles on my bike aswell, did look into Camelbak's but didnt like the thought of on a hot day having excess weight on my back especially 2 liters or more of liquid heating my back up and not helping with "sweating" etc lol so stuck to my bottles lol
