Bottle cage clinch nuts (?)

Hi all,
The bottle cage on my bike rattles even though the bolts have been tightened properly. The little clinch nuts (if that's what they're called?) are a bit loose within the frame. Is there a little knack to tightening these or do I need to replace them? If replacement is required then do I drill them out or what?
Frame is aluminium.
Thanks.

You might find that when you try to unscrew the bolts the nuts just rotate freely in the frame which is rather annoying. A LBS would presumably be able to crimp the rivet nut thingy back on properly assuming they have a tool for it to hand.

When one of mine came loose, I made a ghetto tool, which I posted about here http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/bottlecage-mounts.111371/#post-2043355 It needed 3 hands though, 1 to hold the rivnut in place so it didn't spin, 1 for the bolt and 1 for the nut, but it did the job

A couple of greased washers between the rivnut and the nut you are tightening will help make the job a two hand affair.

I have a rivnut setting tool and a full selection of rivnut sizes if it helps anyone.
