Would seem to be a Banana without it's stickers and curly handlebar/lever set up. The gears are Sachs Huret, rims Raleigh on Maillard hubs. Rear is slightly out due likely to a spoke missing. Frame is in very good condition, only a few minor marks etc, wheels have some pitting. It would not take much to restore this to it's original look....decals, handlebars/levers and a spoke! It's in rideaway condition £40, collection Scunthorpe.

Raleigh Gritstone, all Altus running gear & hubs, few scratches to top tube and one of the bull bars. Both gears only click to one gear (I think issue is with the shifters). That aside it rides fine and tyres/seat aside all original. Lights not included. Collect Scunthorpe £40

Try squirting some wd40 or releasing fluid inside pods and then keep trying them , works when my shimano stx units sit idle for a while

Those ergo grips are fantastic comfy and almost impossible to find today.

Those Altus shifters are surprisingly nice to use when they work, but are as fragile as Trident under a Corbyn government.

Nice bikes, with years of service left in 'em.

Thanks will do, although had a look in 1 earlier, no rust and lubricated. I assumed worn teeth.
