Presumably it's just this year though...
It is sad - Boonen on form is great to watch. He's unlikely to have got much individual opportunity with Cav around but for sure he would have added to the spectacle.
It goes to show how lucky riders have to be sometimes, how good at taking their chance they need to be when they have form and are uninjured. Last year was really remarkable for Boonen.I hope we get to see some 1-day races with Cancellara, Boonen & Sagan all fit and challenging before Boonen and Cancellara get too old.

Perhaps not really a 3 week race rider any more, time catches up faster with some more than others. Classics and one weekers, plenty to go for in the next few seasons.
