Anyone use this as a main rear light? What's your take?

I've seen a couple of mentions elsewhere about poor waterproofing and potential for faults developing as a result.

Nope, but I do use a smart lunar R2, usb rechargeable, good battery life and i have used it in heavy rain without any issues .

My wife has one but has not used it much. When she uses it during the day, it seems to live up to its claim. No problems in terms of performance such as charging, etc.

I've had no problems with the Flare R. I use in mainly in poor vis daylight and I'm sure I get more clearance from cars when it is on. The flashing pattern is irregular and seems to make people take notice. Battery life is good
