Hi All

I have a problem trying to get a cyclocross wheelset with disc brake capability. There are a few but they are either massively expensive or not suitable. I am very heavy user of my bike and break spokes regularly and wondered if I could fit 29" MTB wheels with 700 (or 29") x 25mm Road Tyres on it rather than the 700c cyclocross I have at the moment. I have a SRAM 10 gear cassette and would want a hub that can accept this cassette

Hope you can help

These have had good reviews :

Or you could go hand-built - Hope hubs and Archetype rims should come in under £400, for example.

Or cheaper : http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-wh-rx31-centre-lock-road-disc-brake-rear-wheel/

My boardman cx wheels are coming to the end of their life. So next year my LBS will be building a set for me (with dunohub).

I'd advise custom if you can, because you'll get what you want/need.

Cheers mate, never really thought about my bike shop building a set, it's worth looking into.
