BMX Mongoose Bikes

Hi Guy's

I have twin boys who are 10 who sadly
are not interested in a mountain bike or a skinny wheel
they want a Mongoose, any advice on which one
is best around the £200.00 mark

BMX snobs often turn there noses up at Mongoose, but they make some of the best VFM BMX's around IMO. Not as much street cred as some of the more established BMX brands like Fit Bike Co, FBM, We The People etc, but £200 should get you a cromo frame and 3 piece cranks where the more fashionable brands will still be using Hi Ten and 1 piece cranks at that price. Aim for 3 piece cranks at least, as they are tougher and more serviceable. Likewise a Cromo frame will be lighter and stronger than HiTen.

Have a look for a Mongoose Culture. The Brawler or Article look good too. All of them were just over £200 rrp but I'm sure if you look around you'll pick one up for less. Even if you've got to spend that £20-£30 more it will be worth it in the long run.
