Also, a bike is required by law to have 2 brakes. The fixed gear is the legally acceptable second brake on a fixie.He likes to track stand balancing only on the front wheel.

Real class. Jack Taylor is of course better known for making tandems and tourers, I think somewhere in the north east.

I have a 1985 Trek 600, which has the 50 year anniversary Reynolds 531 sticker in the same place, head of the down tube.

The more modern 531 sticker is in the wrong place IMHO .......

Apparently , the Reynolds decal is the correct one in the original place on the down tube . On Track Bikes only, Jack Taylor himself seemingly insisted that the decal goes there and has the word Track struck through the middle of it ,
Colin , who owns the bike told me this last night , I let him read the thread , he was really taken back and made up by the video that @Cylcleops put the link to and the comments , unfortunately , Colin does not have any form of computer or smart phone , he is a mind of info about bikes around 50 years of knowledge , and still a real enthusiast , his mate who lives in Devon is the one who rebuilds classics especially , I am sure if he Col could join his input would be well recieved by Cyclechat'ers ,
