Blocking Fora?

Can this still be done in the new software?

I quite like removing the temptation to go into the more, er, blood pressure elevating, fora at times by blocking them completely.

I've had a poke around in settings & couldn't see an option for doing this (sorry if I've missed it).

In the meantime, I'll rely on my IRON WILLPOWER to stay out of trouble

Just made me think - it would be interesting if you could make your own customised layout with favourites and suchlike if the software supported it ...

I asked in the test site and Shaun said it's not possible at the moment.

I slowly unblocked a couple of forums in the last place to ease myself in gently.

No, it's not an option at the moment. It may make a return in the future as it has been requested on the XF development forums. There may also be an add-on made available at some point too. I'll keep my eyes open for one!!

Firstly thanks to Shaun for a lot of very hard work. A great job.

I would be a massive supporter of blocking fora. I surf here by clicking "what's news" and glancing down posts, opening a whole load as new tabs, then reading at leisure. I actively want to avoid cafe etc (ie no cycling related stuff) and certain others (eg endless helmet debates)....
