What was the upgrade like to Tiagra? Did you need to buy a new cassette/chain?

No the bike had a Sora/Tiagra 9 speed mix fiited as it is a 2010 Secteur Sport. The rear mech was Tiagra, front mech Sora and the shifters were Sora. All I did was change the shifters to 9 speed Tiagra. It is maybe very slightly smoother at shifting, but its a pretty negligible difference to be honest.

Dont waste your money on bling, it looks good as it is.

It already has the trinity co-ordinated in the correct colour. (Tyres - black, bartape - black, Saddle - black)

Save your money for putting towards improvement, such as saddle if you need one that suits you better, better tyres (black) or wheels.
