Blind spot removal.

As cyclists, we all know about blindspots in vehicles, whilst doing some research for my job, I found the following. This is what a 14 year old came up with for her Science Fair.

She uses webcam on the roof and a projector inside aiming at 3D printed parts. It is clearly not the perfect solution, but if a 14 year old can come up with this, what could industry do?

This is apparently what the pilot of an F35 sees, everywhere. The alleged poor rear visibility of the small canopy is offsett by 360 all directions vision.

This could save the flubbernecked/lazy from having to remember to move their heads to check blind spots. Perhaps one day something similar will be routine - would be great in HGVs too.

It took me a while to register what I was looking at. But that is very smart.

Although the same technology does lend itself to this invisibility mode.

Or the driver could do their proper observation drills and not simply stare withing 20 degrees of dead ahead like most drivers do.
