Hi decided to take the plunge as my old mountain/commuter bike was decidedly getting worse [Raleigh Outland circa 1990's]. went to a local LBS and ended up with a Norco VFR V Brake 3, what a revaliation, haven't heard or seen anything about them untill today and I think its one of the best buys I've bought

Thank you for buying Canadian

However, they are simply another Asian-built frame, kitted with Japanese components. Norco is also one of the biggest bike accessory/part distributors in Canada.

It looks like a good entry level Hybrid. I have a Tourney dérailleur on my MTB an apart from it being a little clunky it is a good mech. Tektro brakes are sometimes vilified by in my experience they are just fine (although it might be worth changing the pads). Enjoy the new riding experience

I have the precursor to the VFR the Norco Volante, I have had it for five years now and still thoroughly enjoy riding it...

I'd never heard of them before but the Norco web site looks quite good, I like their zoom tool and that they clearly state the weight of bikes. Its a pity that more of their bikes aren't available here.
