...does anyone else deny their age?

I've never really celebrated my own birthday. I didn't have an 18th or 21st, 'emigrated' back to the UK before my 40th and now about to turn 49

I'm just totally in denial. Nobody has ever guessed my age within 10 years - down to genetics, keeping fit and generally looking after myself. I just don't feel my age, so is it wrong to not recognise it?

Yes and no. No because age is irrelevant to how you feel and what you want to do but yes because you're experiences in life slowly seperate you from those younger and you find yourself either offering sage advice or staying silent because you know you'll sound old and sensible.

Age is in your head. One of my cycling buddies is 10 years older than me at 63 and was only 4 minutes behind me up Ventoux this summer. He's an inspiration to me and women still find him attractive. I hate him really:biggrin:
