Hi

I recently bought a bikemate cycle computer from aldi and i love it! The only problem is it has went for a spin............in my washing machine! I have went to three different aldi's but all have sold out.

I was wondering where i could get another one from? They must be on sale somewhere else!?!?! Do bikemate not have a website or another retailer they sell through?

I only wish I had bought couple of them as they were only £4.99! what an idiot i am.

Any help our guidence will be much appreciated.

I got given one last year. I'll never use it. It's the one with the Pulse meter which is possibly a HRM.

PM me your address and it's yours if you want it.

There's loads of them in Batley Aldi. If you PM your details I'll get you one and post it if you like.

Hi paul. I have the Halfords one thats about 10 quid.Had it a couple of months and about 400 miles and it seems to work well.

It has been out in the rain a few times without problem but not through ther washing machine as yet:laugh:

PS Just read the post about drying it out with battery removed, give it a go I once got my phone working after a dunking by removing battery leaving the lid off and leaving on top of a radiator overnight.

Thanks for all the advice and the very kind offers.

I'm currently still drying it out this happened saturday lunch time and have had it drying out on the window sill since. Popped the battery in this morning to test before my commute into work and to my suprise there was some life (although hard to see through all the condensation). So going to leave it a little longer and cross my fingers!

Thanks again for all the kind reponses on here this forum and the people in it are the best!

I'll keep you posted as to wether it comes back from the 30degree wash or not.
