BikeIt Dorking

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and biking. Been getting out regularly on a hybrid, road stuff. Nothing serious. Thinking of doing a fun event, saw the BikeIt Dorking event, it looks and sounds like it would be perfect. Can anyone confirm that it is for newbies, and I'm not going to look a lemon, surrounded by semi pro's and serious weekend road riders?

It's ok if they are there I just don't want to pitch up and be out of my depth!

Do you mean the Evans Ride It Sportive?

Don't worry about anyone else. You get all sorts of people with all sorts of different bikes riding sportives. You will not be the only beginner on the ride by a long shot. . It's not a race. It's just a route you follow to suit your own time..go and enjoy yourself.
