Bikehike alternatives

I have been using bikehike.co.uk to plan and store my routes, but went on there last night to plan a new one and after 15 minutes deciding and planning where to go, clicked the save button and a message appeared from the site owner stating that due to legal reasons, it's no longer possible to use the site for this.
Anyway, what do the rest of you use for palnning and storing routes? Found one but it didn't 'follow' the road when planning the route it just drew a straight line between points, so made it a very boring task clicking the road route every couple of hundred yards to keep it on track .
Any recommendations please?

You can still save rides to you own hard drive by downloading the route.

do any of the alternatives do OS mapping and let you plot along bridleways?

^ guess that isn't an answer to the question I asked but to the OP. Can't use bikely as an alternative to bikehike without the OS mapping but go roadies go.
