Hi all, I posted a short while ago regarding my DeRosa Planet I am planning to sell. I got it of a work colleague a few years ago but I have now "gone electric" and not used the bike for a few years so decided to have a bit of a clear out. Can't find anything similar to get a price indication, so just wondering if any of you good people would be able to offer a fair selling price?...

Generally good condition but paint (as from the factory) seems a little "soft" and there are a few general wear marks, but apart from that it functions as it should. All Campag. 20 speed...any advise appreciated..

Many thanks...pics now enclosed

A 56cm one in a better colour* with a Dura-Ace groupset sold for £400 recently on the Bay of Thieves. Record is more desirable (not necessarily better!) but it's a small size. I'd say £400 to the right person but you might need to wait a long time.

*De Rosas should be dark blue

..great cycling country..but not so good for "old knees" hence the new e-bike. I got the DeRosa out when I got back from todays e-bike adventure and gave her a good clean up. Could not believe how light it was! Decided to give it a little ride as I have not been out on if for a few years. It goes really well and I was tempted to keep her, but to be honest I think my "road bike" days are well and truly over. More of a relaxing / touring mode now..

(Shame they don't make electric running shoes as well!!)

If they made electric running shoes then I`d still be running.

Lovely, and rare, bike. Going on the component value - if it's all Campag Record but 10 speed - and the frame I'd suggest £400-500 at the current higher prices than usual.
