bike stand (storage)

i am moving into a flat so that i don't have to wheel the bike through the whole flat to put it in my room, i was thinking of standing it up in a cupboard.

can anyone recommend a stand or wall mount to accomplish this.

No the wheel should be fine, especially if you get a plastic coated hook.
After all, if the wheel can bear our weight, it should have no problem at all bearing a bike's.

i was just concerned since it is a road bike with 700x23 wheels/tyres and the weight is going to localised to one area/part.
