Has anyone put there bike on the national bike register. i know police have access to it ? so you might have a chance of getting your bike back. wondering if to do it.

It's free to join, the kit to mark your bike is something like £20, which is worth it if you want a bit of peace of mind I guess.

Mine is registered. I have no idea if it's of any benefit but if a potential thief sees the sticker they might just think it's too much bother and nick the one next to it. Sorry if your bike is next to mine at the time

Of course, my reasoning assumes that your average bike thief can read so it may be flawed

My Brommy is registered because it's the one I use round the city and despite the substantial motor bike standard chain I use, best to be safe eh - ?
There a several different levels, I had the entry sticker one.
