I downloaded an app called The Roadie Bike Fit for my android phone. I've been trying to tweak my position, and thought this might help. I'm getting all kinds of way out readings, like raise my saddle by 6cm when I cant touch the floor with my toes already, an dmove the saddle forward my 4 cm when its already at maximum 'forwardness'.

I set the bikes up by feel, and i'm comfy, but wan tto maximise things and im aware that im not really ( ineed all the help i can get).

does anybody else have any experiences to share of using Bike fit apps? One thing it has taught me how to do is lean against a wall

I also go by 'feel' for the set up...I have seen a basic bike fit advertised for about £60 in my LBS - that would be my choice above any remote app.

TBH the app isnt all that great. In theory its fine and it all looks hi tech enough, but I got muh better results with a plum line, tape measure, and marking my frame where my knee joint is with tape, as well as the saddle etc. In my case as soon as i fitte a 130mmstem and dropped the bars by a spacer or two things got better. I may go back to the app now and see if i can fine tune anything...worth a go.
