How about a saddle bag?

Saddle bags have the advantage of being out of the way, however you can't access them when you're riding.

Handle bar bags have the advantage of being able to access them when you're riding, but they take up bar space which can be valuable if you're a commuter with lots of attachments (lights, cycle computer, bag etc).

I haven't used a frame fit bag, so can't comment on those.

How does being a woman impact that? Stuff expands to fill available space, everyone knows that.
If all you're after is something to hold a tube, tyre levers, a cable lock and a multitool, then a small saddlebag should do nicely. Aldi had them a few weeks ago, and I've also seen them in Poundland. Either way, they're not expensive.

Bother. They were good.
In fact, a lot of the bike stuff in Poundland is surprisingly good. I have a few of the rear lights, and a puncture kit with tools. And a really dinky little front light.

Just remembered, I have one of these going spare. It's yours if you want it, just PM me a postage address.

I currently have 4 saddle bags between 2 bikes, and prefer the quick release attachment to velcro - So I might as well give this one to someone who will get some use out of it.

I would say it's yours for the price of postage, but it weighs nothing and packs right down, so I suspect postage will be under £1 - So there's no point me asking for any money really. If you feel so inclined, just stick a quid or two in the charity box next time you're out.
