Big thanks to my little lbs. I have several big boys near home but chose a tiny frame builder / repair place to investigate my problems. Main trouble was rear mech that simply had gone mental and lost all tension. Front brake that wouldn't return properly and wheels needing hub overhall and truing. Took it in yesterday. Proper small place 2 blokes one welding, one fettling. Explained troubles etc. 9.30 this morning was rung to say all sorted. Coil spring inside my 105 had come loose. 6 gies at getting it back and it was ok Took a bit of sorting but all ok now. Would have been easy to admit defeat and fit new mech

Re indexed etc. brake overhauled. Perfect now and wheels trued and hubs greased etc. v pleased with service etc. under 40 quid for the lot as well. I shall be back when winter is over for a full job.

I always support my lbs and only use the internet when they can't supply what I want. Due to being a loyal customer I get a good discount from the LBS on everything I buy and they often sort out minor mechanical problems for free. If we don't support our LBS we won't have a LBS for ever.

Sweet !!
My LBS is Lloyds Cycles in Swadlincote, they are a very good shop although a bit slow , could be my fault as they know i have back up bikes  , well priced and i tend to buy my parts from there and use them for jobs i can`t do .
Went in for a brake cable and got free cable ends + ferrules .
